With a twenty year background in the Bahamas, Captain Dudley has achieved his Master STCW ratings from the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. In addition to his extensive experience as a sport fishing captain, Dudley worked for the Bahamian government delivering supplies throughout the islands and serving as the captain of the mail boat service.
Captain Dudley prides himself on his knowledge and professionalism, as well as his dedication to guiding his clients to the premiere deepwater fishing spots in the region.New Providence Island, where Nassau is located, is surrounded by a expansive reef that plunges dramatically 3000 to 5000 plus feet into the depths of the Tongue of the Ocean and the Bahama Bank The convergence of warm and cold ocean currents around the Bahama Banks flushes nutrients to the surface, supplying ample feeding grounds for a wide array of fish species and creating the perfect conditions for deep sea fishing. An abundance of gamefish inhabit these waters, including: barracuda, shark, marlin, sailfish, tuna, wahoo, mackerel, grouper, yellow tail and many others.
The Martini on the Rocks, a fully-equipped 55-foot luxury Ocean Sport Fisher, provides clients with all the comforts of home, including state of the art electronics (Direct TV, surround sound audio, music and DVD library collection), a V berth that will accommodate two people, a main berth with a queen size bed with TV and private lavatory, shower and dressing room. The galley is nicely equipped with a freezer, refrigerator, ice maker, microwave and a water maker that produces 600 gallons a day of fresh water.
This beautiful vessel is outfitted with only the finest gear, including a full complement of Penn rods, reels, and tackle, as well as cockpit freezers and live wells.The combination of our veteran captain and crew with a top-of-the line, fully-loaded fishing vessel will ensure our clients a comfortable and successful offshore expedition.
What is the weather cancellation policy?
If the activity iscancelled due to bad weather, and you cannot reschedule, you will be issued a full refund.
How long is each Fishing Trip?
1/2 Day Trips = 4 Hours, Full Day Trips = 8 Hours
Are food and beverages included?
No they are not, however you are more than welcome to bring your favorite foods and beverages and we will provide a cooler and ice to keep them fresh and cold for you.
Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
Yes, alcoholic beverages like Beer, Wine, and Wine Coolers are allowed. However, for everyone’s safety, Glass containers are not permitted - metal or plastic containers only please.
Is fishing gear provided?
Yes, top-of-the-line fishing gear is provided.
Is bait provided?
Yes. Bait is provided on all of our fishing trips.
What is the customary gratuity?
If you enjoyed your trip and are satisfied with the service provided by our Captain and Crew, a tip of 15-20% of the total trip cost would be very much appreciated.
