The Check Mate - 50' Hatteras

First licensed in 1975 while living in Islamorada, Captain Cole has well over 4000 days of charter time in the Florida Keys, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos islands, US and British Virgin Islands and St. Maarten. Captain Cole holds a current U.S.C.G. Masters license and have operated boats up to 90 feet. I'm also a certified SCUBA diver and FAA licensed pilot.

Captain Cole has over 34 years experience in both inshore and offshore fishing. Captain Cole has guided anglers to catches of over 500 Sailfish, 100 Blue Marlin, thousands of Wahoo and Tuna as well as several White Marlin and Swordfish.

Captain Cole also served as the I.G.F.A representative for over 8 years in the Turks and Caicos Islands as well as St. Maarten.

The Check Mate is a classic 50' Hatteras, with state-of-the-art updated equipment including new twin diesel 600 HP engines that let us get to the places we need to. American licensed captain with over 30 years experience in Florida and the Caribbean.

The interior is brand new with two private cabins for guests including air-conditioning with private heads and showers. The galley is all new and we can prepare any meals we need while away from the dock. The Check Mate is equiped with Penn International 2-Speed fishing reels.
