Stuart Cove Two Tank Morning Dive

Every day, our two tank morning dive expeditions cater to our certified divers who seek adventure in the waters surrounding the Bahama Islands. Our first destination is an amazing wall. Most of the walls we visit on our dive trips begin at 40 feet, although some are even deeper. The amazing variety of scenery at different dive sites along the wall will offer divers the opportunity to experience a unique dive on their adventure.

Both novice and experienced divers will appreciate diving along a Caribbean wall. On each dive, our staff gives their best effort to accommodate our clients' wishes. Patrons determine the depth of each dive with the option of following the divemaster to 80 feet for 30 minutes, or remaining at a shallower ledge. Investigate a shallow reef or wreck on our second dive locale. Many amazing reefs, each with varying coral formations and marine life, are located in the region. There are a number of incredible wreck locations, including a massive 100-foot freighter, 50 feet below the surface, the renowned James Bond wreck in 40 feet of water, and the Cessna utilized in the filming of "Jaws." Stuart Cove, owner of this operation, served as a stunt and safety diver on the James Bond feature film "For Your Eyes Only" starring Roger Moore and Carole Bouquet.

Our crew determines the specific dive sites on the day of the diving expedition. This allows our staff the flexibility to lead dives to the most ideal locales for that particular day, according to weather conditions and the requests of our passengers.

What are the requirements to participate in this dive?
This dive requires an open water certification or higher.

Can you pick us up from our cruise ship or hotel?
Complimentary pick up is provided from all hotels and cruise ship areas.

What are water conditions like?
All dives occur on the south side of the island where waters conditions are great all year round. Visibility remains clear and consistent all year round. Water tempatures change seasonally but average between 72 - 78f.

Can I use/bring my own scuba diving equipment?
Yes. Many people feel more comfortable using equipment they are familiar with and are best suited towards their body type. While we do everything to ensure our divers are using the safest, most reliable gear we do allow our divers to use their own dive gear.

Can my non-diving partner come on the dive?
Yes. While your partner will not be able to participate in the dive itself they can come along as a bubble watcher (rider) and enjoy the trip with you.

Is There a restroom on the boat?
Yes. There is a restroom or "Marine Head" for use on the boat.

What about sharks and other sea creatures?
With all the media hype it's understandable why people often ask this question but the truth is that unprovoked shark attacks are very, very rare and attacks on scuba divers are even more rare. Our staff, divers and dive masters are all trained in making sure your dive is safe and enjoyable.

How long are you underwater?
Length of time underwater for these dives completely depends on the depth of the dive. You can expect to be under water for 25-40 minutes for dives 40-60 feet and about 35-45 minutes for dives less than 40 feet deep.
