Bahamas Adventure Snorkel

Begin your trip by boarding the M/V Blue Manta, an elegant double-deck catamaran, at Nassau harbor and then head out to sea for a snorkeling adventure over the beautiful reefs surrounding the islands of the Bahamas.

On your way out from the harbor, you will be treated to traditional island music and a narrated history of Nassau, a city that has a long, exciting history of European colonial development and contest, intense naval battles and piracy. Complimentary soda and water are available all day. Snacks and alcoholic beverages are available at our cash bar. Once you reach the designated site for snorkeling, you will be supplied with a mask, snorkels and fins and allowed to dive into the crystal clear, blue waters of the Caribbean Sea.

In the area around the Bahamas, the Caribbean is known have the clearest water in the world and a visibility of over 200 feet. You will be able to swim through these refreshingly cool waters and look down into the bottom of the sea to observe all of the spectacularly beautiful creatures that thrive in this aquatic, tropical environment. Witness gorgeous, spectacularly colorful coral reef formations with brain corals and sponges as well as the exotic creatures that make these formations their homes. Some of the fish you may see are manta rays, groupers, angelfishes and stingrays. You might also see turtles and shellfish like the conch which is used in much of the traditional cuisine of the Bahamas.
